The Jackbox Party Pack 9 will debut in October, according to Jackbox Games, and will include five additional games, making it the “greatest pack yet,” in the developer’s opinion.
Additionally, there are five other games, such as the “trivia bluff-off” version of Fibbage 4, Quixort, and a magical joke auction. You’ll be able to toss people out of the lobby and during a game in Junktopia, the silly guessing game Nonsensory, and the “salacious” reality TV competition Roomerang.
Party Pack 9 will also offer the option of using QR codes or the standard four-letter codes to enter games directly from the lobby. On October 20, The Jackbox Party Pack 9 will be accessible via PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The movies below let you see all five games in action.
What has The Jackbox Party Pack 9 added?
To remove annoyances whether streaming live or playing in public, Jackbox Party Pack 9 includes for the first time the capability to kick players from lobbies and games. Additionally, gamers will be able to join the fun by scanning the QR Codes that will show up on the lobby screen.
The games are the lifeblood of each Jackbox Party Pack; they are found beyond these elements that improve quality of life. The 2018 version includes 5 games:
The most recent version of the trivia bluffing game is called Fibbage 4. In the cooperative game Quixort, you must order falling answers correctly. You must purchase the most expensive objects in Junktopia, a comedy auction with magical elements, in order to transform from a frog back into a human.
Nonsensory is a game in which you must determine how absurdly ridiculous another player’s request is.
Roomerang is a game based on reality television where you attempt to score points by providing the funniest responses.
On Jackbox’s YouTube channel, you can watch videos of the five games being played by various online personalities and streamers.
The Jackbox Party Pack 9 will be accessible on October 20th via Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Apple TV iPad, Amazon Fire TV, and Amazon Luna on PC (via Steam, Epic, Mac App Store), Nintendo Switch, PC (via Steam, Epic), and Nintendo Switch.
Although we don’t believe it will be released on the Ouya, it wouldn’t surprise us if Jackbox did. Preorders are currently available on Steam with a 10% discount. US residents can also order a Steam key through the Jackbox website and receive a 10% discount.
